NEW DELHI: India’s coal output elevated 18.59 per cent to 78.65 million tonne (MT) in October.

Coal output by state-owned CIL elevated 15.36 per cent to 61.07 MT in October this yr as in comparison with 52.94 MT within the year-ago interval, the coal ministry stated in a press release.
Coal India Ltd (CIL) accounts for over 80 per cent of the home coal output.
The manufacturing throughout April-October FY24 elevated to 507.02 MT as in comparison with 448.49 MT throughout the identical interval in FY23.
