In what might mark a serious diplomatic breakthrough, US President Donald Trump introduced Monday (native time) he’ll prepare face-to-face talks between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents to assist end the struggle in Ukraine. “At the conclusion of the meetings, I called President Putin,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, referring to his personal White House discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and 7 different European leaders.“I began the arrangements for a meeting, at a location to be determined, between President Putin and Zelenskyy,” he mentioned.The US chief added that the Putin-Zelenskyy talks can be adopted by a trilateral summit involving himself and his two counterparts.(Developing story)
