Aadhaar quantity cancellation: UIDAI clarifies, no numbers cancelled |

Clarifying on the problem of deactivation of Aadhaar playing cards, the Distinctive Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has stated that no Aadhaar numbers have been cancelled. It added that as part of protecting the Aadhaar database up to date, intimations are issued to Aadhaar quantity holders on occasion.
“In the middle of actions undertaken to maintain the Aadhaar database up to date, intimations are issued on occasion to Aadhaar quantity holders.On this connection, it’s clarified that no Aadhaar quantity has been cancelled,” UIDAI stated.
As per a report by information company PTI, in case any Aadhaar quantity holder has any grievance, they will submit their suggestions to UIDAI.
“In case any Aadhaar quantity holder has any grievance on this regard, they could submit their suggestions to UIDAI at this hyperlink https://uidai.gov.in/en/contact-support/suggestions.html. Any such grievance will likely be duly addressed,” it stated.
Aadhaar is probably the most generally used digital identification and is getting used to avail of a number of government-provided advantages, together with subsidies.
Aadhaar deactivation because of technical error’
In a press convention, Union Minister Shantanu Thakur stated that Aadhaar playing cards are being deactivated because of a technical error and all such playing cards will likely be reactivated within the subsequent few days.
