Love was within the air — or a minimum of on social media — as Barack and Michelle Obama shut down swirling divorce rumors with a heartfelt Valentine’s Day alternate, reminding the world that their romance continues to be going robust after 32 years.
‘You continue to take my breath away’
Barack, 63, kicked off the day with a flirty tribute to Michelle, posting a glowing selfie of the couple on X. “Thirty-two years collectively and you continue to take my breath away,” he wrote, including, “Glad Valentine’s Day, @MichelleObama.”
Not one to be outdone, Michelle, 61, responded with an equally swoon-worthy message. “If there’s one individual I can at all times rely on, it’s you, @BarackObama. You’re my rock. All the time have been. All the time will probably be. Glad Valentine’s Day, honey!” she wrote, sealing it with a coronary heart emoji.
A public love letter—or a clapback?
The couple’s candy alternate comes simply as rumors of a break up—and even wild claims of an affair between Barack and “Associates” star Jennifer Aniston—had begun making headlines. Fueling the gossip, Michelle’s absence from each President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s inauguration final month sparked whispers of hassle at house.
But when there was any doubt concerning the energy of their bond, this public Valentine’s Day lovefest appeared to place it to relaxation. In basic Obama vogue, they let their phrases — and their smiles — do all of the speaking.
