State-owned engineering agency Bharat Heavy Electricals Restricted (BHEL) on Saturday (February 8, 2025) stated that it has secured an order price ₹8,000 crore from Maharashtra State Energy Technology Firm Restricted (Mahagenco).
The order is for a 2×660 (1320) MW BTG (boiler turbine generator) bundle of Koradi Thermal Energy Station which incorporates provide of kit, erection and commissioning and civil works, a Bombay Inventory Alternate (BSE) submitting said.
BHEL obtained the Letter of Award from MAHAGENCO on February 7, 2025, for the BTG bundle of Koradi Thermal Energy Station in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, it added.
The order is predicted to be accomplished by 52-58 months from the award of the date of Letter of Award, it added.
