Calling the ballot victory “historic day for the Chhatisgarh BJP”, CM Vishnu Deo Sai thanked the voters.

The voter turnout in civic polls was 72.19 per cent in state. Koriya and Gariaband districts recorded highest with 84.97 per cent and 84.65 per cent respectively whereas Bilaspur and Raipur recorded lowest at 51.37 per cent and 52.75 per cent.
There have been 44,90,360 eligible voters, comprising 22,08,625 males, 22,81,226 ladies and 509 third-gender individuals.
CM Sai on the eve of election outcomes, had expressed optimism that BJP would emerge victorious, simply because it did within the Lok Sabha, state Meeting, and by-elections.
