District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Tourism Department and Bengaluru-based Vinyog Ventures Private Limited have collectively launched a boating facility at Sanna Kere, positioned in Lumbini Garden in Yadgir metropolis.
MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur inaugurated the power on March 24.
“There are four types of water boat facilities in which visitors can travel. One each of kayaking, bumping, general and rafting boats are available for visitors. Visitors of all ages will find something to their liking,” Mr Tunnur stated.
Yadgir CMC Chairperson Lalita Anapur has stated that it was the dream of citizen to journey in boats. “The dream has come true. The citizens should make use of the facility,” she stated.
Assistant Director in the Tourism Department Ramachandra stated {that a} tender will probably be floated to develop boat services in Mavinakere at Shahapur, Ibrahimpur Kere, Narayanapur reservoir, and Minaspur Kere.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sharanabasappa Koteppagol was amongst those that participated in the inauguration ceremony.
