Delhi portfolios: CM Rekha keeps finance; Verma gets water, Mishra law | India News

NEW DELHI: Delhi’s newly appointed chief minister Rekha Gupta unveiled the portfolios of her six cupboard ministers following her swearing-in ceremony on Thursday. Gupta, who assumed workplace with a dedication to fulfilling the BJP’s guarantees, wasted no time in outlining her cupboard’s duties as she set her sights on realising the “Viksit Delhi” mission.
Gupta, who gained the Shalimar Bagh constituency, has taken on the portfolios of finance, income, and ladies and little one welfare. Parvesh Verma, who made headlines for defeating AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal within the New Delhi Assembly, will handle Public Works Department (PWD), Irrigation, Water, and Gurudwara Elections. Ashish Sood, who has been entrusted with house, energy, city growth, and training.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has been given cost of industries and atmosphere, whereas Ravindra Singh will deal with social welfare and SC-ST affairs.
