U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday (August 21, 2025) signed an executive order to ascertain a National Design Studio and create the role of a chief design officer to assist enhance the “usability and aesthetics” of Federal digital and bodily providers.

The studio will advise companies on how one can scale back duplicative design prices and use standardised design on websites the place folks work together with the federal government, in keeping with the order.
