The trailer of filmmaker Ron Howard’s upcoming survival thriller drama, Eden, was launched by the makers on Wednesday (June 25). Featuring a star-studded solid, together with Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Daniel Brühl, and Sydney Sweeney, the movie is ready to launch in theatres on August 22.
In the trailer, the lead characters, a gaggle of European settlers who journey to the Ecuadorian island of Floreana in the early twentieth century. There, as they determine methods to make a dwelling, they discover a dark reality about themselves — that they must fight one another to survive.
“Eden unravels the shocking true story of a group of disillusioned outsiders who abandon civilisation, settling on a remote, uninhabited island only to discover that the greatest threat isn’t the brutal climate or deadly wildlife, but each other. As tensions spiral and desperation takes hold, a twisted power struggle unfolds, leading to betrayal, violence, and the deaths of half the colony,” reads the logline of the movie.
Written by Noah Pink, Eden tells a darkly shaggy dog story of survival, impressed by two conflicting accounts of a real-life occasion. The movie’s solid additionally options Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh.
Eden is produced by Howard, Brian Grazer, Karen Lunder, Ford, William M. Connor and Patrick Newall. Miguel Palos, Zach Garrett, Craig McMahon, Pink, Mathias Herndl, Namit Malhotra, David Taghioff, Masha Magonova and Matt Murphie function the chief producers.
