Thiruvananthapuram, The Kerala Cyber Police registered a case on Thursday, 4 July. after an announcement was made on social media that the Overseas Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) query paper and reply key had been on the market. After finishing MBBS research overseas, those that want to apply in India are required to cross the FMGE performed by the Nationwide Board of Examinations.FMGE examination is scheduled to happen tommorow, 6 July.
A state police spokesperson mentioned that the Metropolis Cyber Crime Police in Thiruvananthapuram have registered a case towards teams that marketed the sale of query papers for the July 6 examination on Telegram teams.
The case was registered beneath the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 2024, making it the primary case of its form within the state to be registered beneath this legislation, the spokesperson mentioned in a press release.
As a part of efforts to detect such frauds, the Cyber Division of the Police has began 24×7 cyber patrolling on social media platforms, together with numerous Telegram channels, it mentioned.
