Thailand’s former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra arrived in Bangkok on Monday (September 8, 2025) after his shock departure to Dubai, a day earlier than a court ruling that could open him up to imprisonment.

Mr. Thaksin could be seen strolling out of the personal jet terminal of the Don Mueang International Airport from a livestream video on Monday afternoon.

Last week, Mr. Thaksin mentioned he supposed to journey to Singapore for a medical checkup, however had to change the vacation spot to Dubai as a substitute as a result of he was delayed by Thai immigration.
