State-owned pure fuel transmission and advertising firm GAIL (India) and Container Corporation of India have signed an MoU to evaluate the feasibility of utilizing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as gas for CONCOR’s logistics fleet.
The collaboration seeks to harness LNG’s benefits as a cleaner and cheaper different to diesel, which might lead to diminished emissions and decrease operational prices, GAIL stated on Friday following the MoU signed within the presence of Director (Marketing) Sanjay Kumar and CONCOR CMD Sanjay Swarup.
The MoU is yet one more step in direction of CONCOR’s dedication to supply sustainable logistics options. It has already established LNG station at MMLP Khatuwas in Rajasthan and procured a fleet of 130 LNG trailers, which is leading to discount in carbon foot prints within the firm’s everyday operations, Mr.Swaroop stated.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar stated GAIL holds the biggest LNG portfolio within the nation, with contracts spanning a number of geographies worldwide that place it as a dependable LNG provider.
