Gauhati high court receives bomb threat from 'Madras Tigers', search ops on

NEW DELHI: Gauhati high court on Tuesday acquired bomb threat by way of electronic mail, Assam Police mentioned.
According to official, police has launched a search operation and consultants are checking each nook of the premises.
“We have immediately rushed a team to the high court after getting the threat message. Our experts are checking every corner of the premises, and nothing has been found so far. We believe it is a hoax,” senior police official advised information company PTI.
He added the main points will probably be recognized solely after the search operation is over.
Meanwhile, in accordance with a senior official of the high court mentioned the e-mail was acquired from an unknown organisation, named ‘Madras Tigers‘, which threatened to explode all the constructing.
“Police have come and they are carrying out a search operation. They have brought different equipment to sanitise the building,” he mentioned.
The official mentioned the threat has not hampered the functioning of the court, and judges are listening to instances as scheduled.
