NEW DELHI: Australian Geoff Allardice has introduced his determination to step down as Chief Govt of the Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC), simply weeks earlier than the Champions Trophy ODI event set to start subsequent month.
The 57-year-old, who has been with the ICC for over a decade, will depart his place after a tenure marked by important achievements in world cricket.

Allardice joined the ICC in 2012 as Normal Supervisor of Cricket after serving as Cricket Operations Supervisor at Cricket Australia. He was appointed ICC CEO in November 2021, following an eight-month stint as appearing CEO.
