Actor Malavika Mohanan has joined the solid of Hridayapoorvam, starring Mohanlal. The Malayalam movie marks the reunion of Mohanlal with director Sathyan Anthikad after 10 years.
Through the Twenty fifth-anniversary celebration of Aashirvad Cinemas, Sathyan Anthikad stated that Malavika Mohanan has changed the beforehand introduced feminine lead, Aishwarya Lekshmi. Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal final labored collectively in 2015 in Ennum Eppozhum, additionally that includes Manju Warrier.

Akhil Sathyan (Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum), director and son of Sathyan Anthikad, has written the story of the film whereas the screenplay and dialogues have been written by Sonu TP. Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, and Janardhanan are the opposite actors within the film.
