Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), recognised because the world’s largest processed fertiliser cooperative and a distinguished distinguished participant in agri-input manufacturing and advertising and marketing, has established a strategic collaboration by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains (FDRVC). The FDRVC, established as a not-for-profit organisation below the Ministry of Rural Development’s initiative, focuses on supporting producer-owned collective enterprises (PE) with skilled administration. This collaborative effort seeks to strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) all through India by enhancing their entry to progressive, sustainable and premium agricultural inputs. The initiative is predicted to profit over 800 FPOs and a million farmers nationwide.The formal MoU signing ceremony was carried out between Yogendra Kumar, Marketing Director of IFFCO, and Bipin Bihari, CEO of FDRVC.Under this partnership, IFFCO shall present superior Nano Fertilisers, Bio-stimulants, Specialty Fertilisers and natural merchandise together with Bio-fertilisers and Bio-decomposers to FPOs linked with FDRVC. This collaboration goals to improve agricultural yields and financial advantages while supporting the federal government’s goal of sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture by collective farming practices.Yogendra Kumar emphasised IFFCO’s dedication in the direction of Indian farmers and its steady efforts to remodel agriculture by superior applied sciences and farmer-focused options. The settlement ensures widespread distribution of IFFCO’s Nano Fertilisers and Specialty Products to distant areas, enabling small farmers to entry premium agricultural inputs at affordable costs by native FPOs.FDRVC, leveraging its in depth FPO community throughout numerous areas, will guarantee environment friendly distribution, farmer training and promotion of those agricultural inputs by community-based approaches. The alliance will strengthen FPOs’ institutional capabilities and help their improvement as sustainable rural enterprises.
