NEW DELHI: Former Pakistan quick bowler Shoaib Akhtar didn’t maintain again his frustration following Pakistan’s six-wicket defeat to India of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 conflict on the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. The legendary pacer was significantly harsh on the Pakistan staff management, calling them “brainless and clueless.” He criticised their tactical selections, particularly their collection of solely 5 bowlers, when most groups now play six. “You go with two all-rounders, but this is just brainless and clueless management. I am really disappointed,” he added.
Akhtar additionally expressed sympathy for the Pakistan gamers, blaming their struggles on a scarcity of clear path from the management. “We can’t blame the kids.
