NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight, 6E 2142, winging its method from Delhi to Srinagar on Wednesday night encountered turbulence attributable to climate. The Airbus A321 (VT-IMD) had taken off from Delhi at 5 pm. About 45 minutes into the journey, it bumped into bad climate and pilots reported the emergency to Srinagar ATC. The airplane landed there safely at 6.46pm, in accordance with flight monitoring websites. It is learnt that everybody on board the plane is protected. The airplane has been grounded at Srinagar.“IndiGo flight 6E 2142 operating from Delhi to Srinagar encountered sudden hailstorm en route. The flight and cabin crew followed established protocol and the aircraft landed safely in Srinagar. The airport team attended to the customers after arrival of the aircraft, prioritizing their wellbeing and comfort. The aircraft will be released post necessary inspection and maintenance,” the airways mentioned.
