Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi has introduced a partnership with the Cambodian Premier League side Angkor Tiger Football Club, based mostly in Siem Reap, for the upcoming 2025-26 season of the Cambodian Youth League.
The academy teams of Angkor Tiger FC (under-16 and under-19) play within the nationwide Cambodian Youth League. Indian firm SkaSports Investments Private Limited had acquired a minority stake in Angkor Tiger Football Club in August 2023.
As a part of the partnership, the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals emblem might be positioned within the entrance of the jersey. There will even be medical academic seminars and camps being hosted in Siem Reap for the Academy gamers and their households, alongside medical consciousness classes.
Speaking on the partnership, Shivakumar Pattabhiraman, Managing Director, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, stated: “Our association with Angkor Tiger Football Club reflects a shared vision of empowering youth, fostering community engagement, and building healthier, more resilient futures. We are proud to lend our support to a platform that inspires discipline, teamwork and growth values we deeply resonate with.”

Meanwhile, Akihiro Kato, proprietor and chairperson of Angkor Tiger FC, commented, “Apollo Hospital’s encouragement means a lot to us as we continue nurturing young talent in Cambodia. It is always inspiring to see leaders in healthcare take an interest in the growth of grassroots football.”
