Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) house sport towards Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 6 is set to be shifted to Guwahati as police has expressed its incapability to present security for the IPL contest due to ‘Ram Navami’ celebrations within the metropolis on the day, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Snehasish Ganguly informed PTI on Thursday (March 20, 2025).

BJP chief Suvendu Adhikari had introduced that over 20,000 processions are being organised throughout West Bengal to rejoice the competition.

The conflict between KKR and LSG, owned by RPSG Group chairman Sanjiv Goenka, was anticipated to draw a packed home, with each groups boasting robust native help.
