Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman on Saturday (June 14, 2025) known as additional nuclear talks with the United States “meaningless” after Israeli strikes on the nation, state tv stated.

The feedback by Esmail Baghaei put additional talks between the 2 nations, initially scheduled to happen on Sunday (June 15, 2025) in Oman, into doubt.

“The U.S. did a job that made the talks become meaningless,” Baghaei was quoted as saying. He added that Israel had handed all Iran’s purple traces by committing a “criminal act” via its strikes.

However, he stopped wanting saying the talks had been cancelled. The Mizan information company, which is run by Iran’s judiciary, quoted him as saying: “It is still not clear what we decide about Sunday talks.”
