Iran FM says ‘no settlement’ as of now on ceasefire with Israel

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Tuesday (June 24, 2025) that there was no ceasefire settlement with Israel as of now, but when it stopped its assaults then Tehran would additionally cease firing.

“As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations,” Mr. Araghchi posted on social media, shortly after the U.S. President introduced a deal would start round 0400 GMT.

Mr. Araghchi added that if “the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 a.m. Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards.”
