Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has introduced the OTT release date of her newest movie, Emergency. Directed by and starring Kangana, the historic drama centres on the tumultuous lifetime of Indira Gandhi, notably her actions through the repressive years of the Indian Emergency (1975-1977).
On Instagram Stories, Kangana revealed the movie will start streaming on Netflix from March 17.

Written by Ritesh Shah, Emergency launched in theatres on January 17, 2025, following a number of delays and controversies. Sikh teams had protested towards the group’s portrayal within the movie.
