Karnataka Bandh 22 March: The Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams have been scheduled for March 21, but no Karnataka SSLC exams 2025 are deliberate for March 22, the day of the bandh, reviews claimed.
There is not any official affirmation on whether or not schools will be closed as we speak, March 22, because of the Karnataka bandh. Hence, at present schools will stay open.
South First reported that schools will stay open for exams. However, Good Returns reported that “while some schools and colleges have already declared a holiday as a precautionary measure, others are taking a ‘wait and watch’ approach before making a final decision.”
Meanwhile, the Karnataka Private Schools Union has given ethical help to the shutdown, but different unions haven’t prolonged help and acknowledged that exams are happening in a number of districts, together with Bengaluru. Hence, schools are open. Similarly, personal schools will stay open as properly, reported ANI.
“The bandh does not have the support of our organization. The organization will not participate in the bandh in any form,” ANI quotes Karnataka Rakshana Vedike State President TA Narayana Gowda in an announcement.
The choice on whether or not Karnataka schools will stay open or closed will rely largely on the participation within the bandh and the supply of secure transportation for college students.
Speaking concerning the Karnataka Bandh tomorrow and the college closure, Karnataka training minister Madhu Bangarappa was quoted by News 18 Kannada as saying, “No decision has been taken yet to close schools. I will hold a meeting with the home minister and transport minister in the afternoon. I will announce the decision based on what they say.”
Bangarappa mentioned youngsters might face issues if there isn’t a public transport accessible in the course of the bandh.
“It is not possible to open the school without transport and security. There is a validation test tomorrow. So we are ready to postpone it. But we will take a decision after seeing the decision of the Home Department and the Transport Department,” he reportedly mentioned.
On Saturday, March 22, pro-Kannada teams known as for a 12-hour statewide shutdown to protest towards the alleged assault on a KSRTC bus conductor in Belagavi, in keeping with media reviews. The shutdown, from 6 am to six pm, is organised by Kannada Okkoota.
