Karnataka ex-police chief Om Prakash found dead at his home in Bengaluru | India News

NEW DELHI: Former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash, a 1981 batch IPS officer, was found dead at his home in Bengaluru on Sunday, the police knowledgeable. The officers suspect the involvement of a detailed member of the family in the incident.
Initial experiences from native media indicated that police are investigating the incident as a suspected homicide and have launched a probe.
Prakash was a local of Champaran, Bihar. The 68-year-old held an MSc in Geology and was appointed because the Director General of Police on March 1, 2015.
His physique has been despatched for post-mortem and the probe is underneath manner.
