Aries Kollam Sailors with slick effectivity notched up its third straight win and moved into the highest of the Kerala Cricket League factors desk. Alleppey Ripples was crushed by eight wickets with medium pacers N.M. Sharafuddeen (4 for 25) and Biju Narayanan (three for 20) organising the win.
The duo blew away Ripples’ batting line-up and solely three Ripples batters managed to enter double figures with skipper Mohammed Azharuddeen high scoring with 29.
Ripples, after the heavy defeat in opposition to Thrissur Titans, made three adjustments and tinkered with the batting line-up. The experiment to advertise Vinoop Manoharan as opener backfired as he was dismissed within the first over by Biju.

Basith counterattacked by clubbing Abhijith Praveen for a six and a 4 and within the subsequent over slammed three sixes off M. Nikhil. He accomplished the victory in model with one other six off Sivaraj.
Earlier, Salman Nizar performed a nicely paced innings of 72 not out to allow Calicut attain a good whole of 144 for six.
