Kudumbasthan, the hit Tamil comedy drama, has continued the profitable run of actor Manikandan. Released on January 24, 2025, in theatres, the film is directed by Rajeshwar Kaliswamy.
The film revolves across the lifetime of a newly-married middle-class teen. As he succumbs to the strain of being a household man, his peace of thoughts goes for a toss. Also starring Guru Somasundaram and Saanve Megghana, the film is ready to drop on Zee5 on March 07, 2025.
TheHindu assessment of the movie stated, “Kudumbasthan, much like most families out there, has its flaws and shortcomings. But similar to a mother’s hand-fed affection or a father’s care-laden motivation talks, the film comes as a tender affirmation that Tamil cinema has more to offer than just action and violence.”

Kudumbasthan is penned by Rajeshwar Kaliswamy and Prasanna Balanchandran. Prior to Kudumbasthan, Manikandan had delivered again to again hits with Good Night and Lover.
