Nayanthara has joined the solid of the upcoming film starring Chiranjeevi. Tentatively titled Mega 157, the Telugu film can be directed by Anil Ravipudi.
Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela will produce the film underneath the banners Shine Screens and Goldbox Entertainment respectively. The makers introduced Nayanthara’s casting with a video.
In the video, Nayanthara is seen talking in Telugu as she will get prepared and travels to fulfill Ravipudi. On her method, she listens to a well-known quantity from a Chiranjeevi film within the automobile. Later, the actor is seen being very impressed with the script of Mega 157. The video ends with Nayanthara assembly Ravipudi and confirming her function within the film.
Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara beforehand acted collectively in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019) and Godfather (2022). Meanwhile, Ravipudi final directed Sankranthiki Vasthunam, the blockbuster Telugu film starring Venkatesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film, which hit the screens on January 14, 2025, collected near ₹300 crore on the field workplace.

Chiranjeevi was final seen in Bhola Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh. The film was a remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, starring Ajith Kumar. Nayanthara was lately seen within the Netflix authentic Test, additionally starring Siddharth, R Madhavan and Meera Jasmine.
