Goa CM Pramod Sawant dropped controversial artwork and tradition minister Govind Gaude from his cupboard on Wednesday. Sawant had determined almost three weeks in the past to drop Gaude after the minister made critical allegations of corruption in the tribal welfare department, which is under the CM. However, Gaude’s elimination was delayed as Sawant was awaiting clearance from Delhi, reviews Murari Shetye. TOI was the primary to report on May 31 that Gaude can be dropped from the cupboard. Sawant has not but determined whether or not he’ll instantly induct a brand new minister into his cupboard or wait till the top of the Goa meeting’s monsoon session, which is to start July 22. In his assertion on social media platforms, Gaude mentioned: “There can be no greater honour than to be recognised on Goa Revolution Day for standing with the weak and oppressed. I am grateful to govt and the party for liberating me to give voice to the struggle – the very cause for which govt has taken this stance. When faced with the choice between power and truth, I will always choose truth.”
