NEW DELHI: The central authorities has notified a 24 per cent enhance in the salaries, allowances, and pensions of Members of Parliament (MPs) and former MPs, with impact from April 1, 2023.
The notification, issued by the ministry of parliamentary affairs on Monday, revises the month-to-month wage of MPs from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.24 lakh, whereas additionally growing their every day allowances and pension advantages.
As per the notification, the every day allowance for sitting MPs has been raised from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500.
