NEW DELHI: A Delhi courtroom Wednesday cancelled the non-bailable warrants (NBWs) issued against former RAW agent Vikash Yadav on Monday in an alleged abduction and extortion case, noting that he had failed to seem in courtroom due to a strike by attorneys. Additional classes choose Saurabh Partap Singh Laler restored the surety furnished for bail and directed him to seem in courtroom on October 17.Yadav – who was charged by US authorities for his alleged function in a foiled plot to assassinate Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on American soil – was arrested in Dec 2023 following a criticism from a Delhi-based businessman accusing him of extortion and abduction. A chargesheet was filed in March 2024, and Yadav was granted bail in April 2024. On March 24, the courtroom granted him exemption from private look.
