MYSURU: Scores of Karnataka farmers plan to go on a padayatra (march) to a shrine in Mandya subsequent month looking for divine intervention to get brides, eight months after an analogous effort by one other group. The farmers say the “bride disaster” has been attributable to reluctance amongst many ladies and their households to be yoked to rural life.
