Liverpool ahead Mohamed Salah and Arsenal midfielder Mariona Caldentey have been voted the males’s and ladies’s player of the year in English soccer for final season at the Professional Footballers’ Association awards on Tuesday (August 19, 2025).
For Salah, it marks a file third time he has gained the award that’s voted by his fellow professionals. The 33-year-old Egypt worldwide scored 29 objectives and supplied 18 assists in the Premier League as Liverpool powered to a record-equaling twentieth English top-flight championship.

Salah additionally collected the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year award for a 3rd time earlier in the year.
The 29-year-old Caldentey loved an excellent first season at Arsenal, scoring 19 objectives in all competitions — together with eight on her staff’s journey to lifting the Champions League trophy with a victory in the remaining towards her former membership, Barcelona.
