SBI branch network crosses 1,200 mark in TG with opening of 10 branches

State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty on Friday inaugurated 10 new branches in Telangana, taking the branch network of the nation’s largest lender to 1,206 throughout the State.

Five of the branches are in rural centres and the remainder in city centres. The new branches are Alampur x street; Chinnambavi; Raghavendra colony (Kondapur); Neopolis; Kistareddypet (Patancheru); Khajaguda; Osman Nagar; Kangti (Narayankhed); Suchitra Circle (Quthbullapur); and Nandipet.

It is a strategic enlargement and geared toward enhancing SBI’s presence and repair supply in key areas. The financial institution is dedicated to make sure quick access to banking in unbanked areas and cater to rising banking wants of the folks in growing city centres, SBI Hyderabad Circle mentioned on Friday in a launch on the digital inauguration of the branches by Mr.Setty in the presence of the Chief General Manager Rajesh Kumar.

The SBI Chairman suggested the employees to concentrate on 4 foundational rules of customer-centricity; enterprise progress; sustainable progress; and employee-centricity.
