Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday (July 15, 2025) stated Shubhanshu Shukla has not simply touched house, he has lifted India’s aspirations to new heights.
Axiom-4 crew return highlights
Group Captain Shukla, alongside along with his three crew members of the Axiom-4 mission, returned from the International Space Station (ISS) after their 20-day house odyssey.
“Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s successful return from the historic Axiom-4 mission is a proud moment for every Indian. He has not just touched space, he has lifted India’s aspirations to new heights,” Mr. Singh wrote on X.
“His journey to the International Space Station and back is not just a personal milestone, it is a proud stride for India’s growing space ambitions. Wishing him great success in his future endeavours,” he stated.
Mr. Singh, a Lok Sabha member from Lucknow, spoke to Mr. Shukla’s father on the telephone to convey his greetings and instructed him that the nation was happy with his son’s achievements.
