The trailer for the upcoming Prime Video collection Snakes & Ladders is out. The Tamil collection is touted to be a thriller laced with darkish humour.
The trailer seem intense, with cops, thieves, and children caught in a suspenseful chase. Snakes & Ladders is directed by Bharath Muralidharan, Ashok Veerappan and Kamala Alchemis whereas filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is the artistic producer.
The collection appears to discover the idea of friendship as a bunch of kids embark on an journey. “The story follows the adventures of 4 college buddies, Gilly, Irai, Sandy, and Bala, who discover themselves inadvertently entangled in a conundrum.
As they navigate numerous difficult conditions and private struggles, leaving inevitable trails, making questionable decisions alongside the best way, their journey in the end leads them on an sudden path of self-discovery,” reads the official synopsis of the collection.
Snakes & Ladders is produced by Kalyan Sundaram below the banner Stone Bench Productions. It premieres on Amazon Prime Video on October 18.
The collection reunites actor Naveen Chandra and Karthik Subbaraj. Created by Kamala Alchemis and Dhivakar Kamal, Snakes & Ladders additionally stars Muthu Kumar, Nandaa, Srinda, Manoj Bharathiraja, Ramachandran, Sreejith Ravi, Samrit Surya, Rageshwar Surya, Kumar Tharun, and Sasha Bharen.
