SRH names Varun Aaron as bowling coach for IPL 2026

Sunrisers Hyderabad has appointed Varun Aaron as the brand new bowling coach for the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, the franchise introduced on Monday. He will take over from former New Zealand left-arm fast James Franklin, who was with the crew for the final two years.

The former India participant retired from cricket earlier this yr and has picked up commentary since. The 35-year-old performed the IPL for 9 seasons, claiming 44 wickets in 52 matches at an economic system of 8.93 for 5 franchises — Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).
