Rishi Sunak was requested to “assure” that not one of the prisoners launched early have been thought of excessive danger.
The PM advised Sir Keir Starmer there have been “strict eligibility standards” and no-one would go into the early launch scheme in the event that they have been deemed a menace to public security.
In between their exchanges on prisons, the pair each weaved in questions and solutions about defence spending following Mr Sunak’s speech on Monday.
