Dramatic video captures surprised passengers screaming “Stop the slide!” as the deluge poured by the jagged opening.Royal Caribbean mentioned a male visitor was injured and handled on board, although particulars of his situation stay beneath wraps. Royal Caribbean confirmed {that a} male visitor was injured at the waterpark and obtained medical consideration, although the nature and severity of the accidents weren’t disclosed. A spokesperson instructed Storyful, “Our team provided medical care to an adult guest when acrylic glass broke off a water slide as the guest passed through the slide. The guest is being treated for his injuries.” The slide has been closed for the the rest of the journey as Royal Caribbean investigates the incident. The cruise departed Miami on August 2, 2023, and is scheduled to return to port on Saturday after touring the Caribbean.
