Indian cricket crew’s head coach and former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Gautam Gambhir has discovered himself on the centre of a safety scare after he reportedly acquired threatening emails, a police supply stated on Thursday (April 24, 2025).

The supply stated that Gambhir acquired two threat mails, a criticism concerning which was acquired on the Rajinder Nagar police station.

“We have launched an investigation into the matter,” the supply. stated.

The threats have been reportedly acquired on April 22 — the identical day terrorists gunned down 26 individuals, principally vacationers, in Kashmir’s Pahalgam — through a suspicious Gmail account.

This is not the primary time Gambhir has been threatened. In 2021, he acquired comparable threats, prompting the authorities to tighten his safety measures.
