U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Pakistan may promote oil to India “some day” after asserting that Washington has concluded a deal with Islamabad underneath which they are going to work collectively to develop the South Asian nation’s oil reserves.
“We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves. We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling Oil to India some day!” Mr. Trump stated in a submit on Truth Social on Wednesday.
Mr. Trump’s submit got here hours after he introduced a 25% tariff on India and an extra penalty for India’s purchases of Russian army tools and power.
Mr. Trump stated the White House has been “very busy” engaged on commerce offers, and he might be assembly with the South Korean commerce delegation.
“Likewise, other Countries are making offers for a Tariff reduction. All of this will help reduce our Trade Deficit in a very major way. A full report will be released at the appropriate time,” he stated.
