Dutch far-right chief Geert Wilders revealed Wednesday (June 25, 2025) he had held an “excellent” assembly with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
“Thank you so much Mr President… for the excellent meeting we just had and our discussion about the need for tougher immigration laws,” stated Mr. Wilders on X, sharing a selfie of the pair.
The assembly will possible increase eyebrows within the host nation. Mr. Wilders is the chief of the biggest celebration within the Dutch parliament however holds no official authorities place.
He upended Dutch politics earlier this month when he pulled his far-right PVV Freedom Party out of the shaky coalition, bringing down the federal government.
