Vicky Kaushal’s newest blockbuster, Chhaava, is being dubbed in Telugu and can be distributed in Telugu-speaking areas owing to popular demand, the makers introduced on Wednesday.
The Telugu release of Chhaava can be dealt with by GA2 Pictures, the distribution arm of Geetha Arts, the banner of producer Allu Arvind. The Telugu model of the movie will release on March 7, 2025.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is an action-historical on the life and instances of Sambhaji, the valiant elder son and inheritor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founding father of the Maratha Empire. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna as Queen Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Chhaava, that includes violent battle sequences in addition to the protracted torture of Sambhaji by the hands of Aurangzeb, has collected over ₹400 crore on the box-office, turning into the most important hit of Kaushal’s profession. It can also be the highest-grossing Hindi and Indian movie of 2025.
