NEW DELHI: A video of Australian cricketer and Sunrisers Hyderabad star Travis Head refusing a selfie with a fan has gone viral, sparking widespread debate on social media concerning the private area and privacy of celebrities.
In the clip, Head is seen casually looking for groceries at a grocery store in Hyderabad through the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

A bunch of followers may be seen trailing him, recording him on their telephones and repeatedly asking for a selfie. Despite Head clearly refusing a number of occasions with a well mannered ‘no,’ the followers endured, finally expressing frustration over what they described as ‘angle.’
“He is showing too much attitude,” one of the boys is heard saying within the video, which has since circulated extensively throughout platforms like X and Instagram. The actual date and site of the incident stay unverified.

The video has drawn combined reactions, with many customers criticising the fan behaviour whereas others questioned Head’s response. One consumer tweeted in help of the cricketer: “SRH fans harassing Travis Head for selfies. Fans should understand that it’s players’ choice to deny requests if they are not comfortable.”
