Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’ gets a new release date

We had beforehand reported that the release of Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, and Akshay Kumar, has been postponed. Originally scheduled for April 25, the movie’s release has been delayed to permit extra time for visible results work, in response to the filmmakers.

The makers of the movie have now introduced a new release date. Dr. Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, Prabhu Deva, and govt producer Vinay Maheshwari met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who unveiled the release date poster for Kannappa. The movie will hit theatres on June 27.

Kannappa is a mythological drama based mostly on the story of Bhakta Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu performs the lead function, with Mohanlal and Prabhas additionally in key roles. Akshay Kumar makes his Telugu debut as Lord Shiva, whereas Kajal Aggarwal performs Goddess Parvati. Actors Preity Mukhundhan, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam and Madhooare additionally set to play necessary roles

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by M Mohan Babu, Sheldon Chau is the cinematographer of the movie whereas Anthony Gonsalvez is the editor. The movie’s music consists by Stephen Devassy.
