NEW DELHI: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable has been accused of trying to push a passenger out of a practice, after a video of the incident unfold extensively on social media. The clip reveals the officer slapping a younger man, dragging him in direction of the open door and trying to push him out, as different passengers may be heard objecting. The man was alleged to be travelling and not using a ticket. Instead of issuing a advantageous or eradicating him at the following station, the officer allegedly pressured him in direction of the exit.The video has drawn 1000’s of reactions on social media, with many demanding strict motion from railway authorities.The RPF later issued a press release stating that the incident occurred on August 18, 2025, at Delhi Sarai Rohilla station. According to the drive, the practice had stopped after the chain was pulled, and the constable solely tried to take away the passenger when he failed to present identification. It mentioned the practice was at the platform at the time, rejecting claims that the person was about to be pushed from a transferring practice.Officials mentioned the constable has been moved to the RPF Reserve Line at Daya Basti and a divisional-level inquiry is underway.
