Navi Mumbai has changed Bengaluru as a venue to host the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, to be performed in India and Sri Lanka from September 30.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) introduced on Friday (August 22, 2025) that every one the matches that have been to be staged on the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, together with provisionally the ultimate, will now be performed on the Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium.

With the Karnataka State Cricket Association formally informing the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) — the match host — final week about its incapacity to host, Thiruvananthapuram was thought of as the primary alternative to stage the video games.

However, logistical challenges — with Thiruvananthapuram airport not having direct flight connectivity to any of the opposite 4 match venues — meant it dropped out of the race regardless of the Kerala Cricket Association’s willingness to host the matches at a brief discover.
