Alia Bhatt made heads flip and left everybody shocked as she opted to re-wear her marriage ceremony saree as she gained her first Nationwide Award. The actress gained the award for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi‘. She was accompanied by her husband Ranbir Kapoor as she acquired her award from President Droupadi Murmu. The actress had shared some photos from the Nationwide Awards Ceremony. She mentioned, “A photograph, a second, a reminiscence for all times 🤍”
Now the actress has opened up on why she determined to repeat her marriage ceremony saree.Alia mentioned throughout an interplay with HT Summit that when the award was introduced, instinctively she felt like she’s going to re-wear her marriage ceremony saree as a result of whereas the saree was ideated and curated by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, ‘it felt very me’. The saree had numerous Alia and her character.

When she gained the award, she took to social media and wrote, “To Sanjay Sir..To your complete crew..To my household..To my group & final however most undoubtedly not the least.
