NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s white-ball tour of the Netherlands, scheduled for 2024, has been postponed upon the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
Initially, the Males in Inexperienced had been slated to interact in a three-match T20I sequence towards the Netherlands in Could 2024, forming a part of a broader European tour that included three T20Is towards Eire and 4 towards England.These fixtures had been strategically organized forward of the ICCT20 World Cup scheduled to start in June 2024, hosted within the West Indies and the USA.
Roland Lefebvre, the high-performance supervisor of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Board (KNCB), confirmed the cancellation of the tour, citing the PCB’s issues about scheduling clashes and participant workload.
Lefebvre expressed understanding of the PCB’s predicament, acknowledging the demanding taking part in schedules and the paramount significance of participant well-being. He conveyed the KNCB’s willingness to reschedule the sequence at a later date, emphasising the constructive relationship between the 2 cricket boards.
